Dorothy Ann Stacy, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., left this earth to join her Heavenly Father Monday, July 2, 2018 at her home. Dorothy, the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Tyler was born Dec. 30, 1947 in Manila, Ark. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Harviell and was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed going to church and singing. Dorothy's greatest joy was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren...

Dorothy Ann Stacy, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., left this earth to join her Heavenly Father Monday, July 2, 2018 at her home.

Dorothy, the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Tyler was born Dec. 30, 1947 in Manila, Ark. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Harviell and was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed going to church and singing. Dorothy's greatest joy was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She married her best friend and the love of her life, Harold Stacy on Sept. 14, 1974 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Harold Stacy, Jr., Howard (Shelli) Stacy and Heather (D.J.) Powell all of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, Colton, Kyndal and Payton Powell; a brother Danny Tyler of Poplar Bluff; four sisters, Brenda Spence of Poplar Bluff, Minnie Kissee of Corning, Ark., Mary Baker and Rachael Tyler both of Poplar Bluff.

Three brothers, Don Tyler, Paul Tyler and David Tyler also preceded Dorothy in death.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Leroy Murray officiating. Burial will be at Simmons Cemetery in Fredericktown, Mo.
