KENNETT, Mo. --The Poplar Bluff swim team picked up 16 wins and placed second to host Kennett 1,858.5 to 450.5 while beating four other teams Saturday. Gavin Vaughn won three events in the 13-14 age division, missing a fourth by 0.08 of a second, while Paige Bradley won three events in the 15-18 division and Teagan Kassing also won three times in the 9-10 division...

Gavin Vaughn won three events in the 13-14 age division, missing a fourth by 0.08 of a second, while Paige Bradley won three events in the 15-18 division and Teagan Kassing also won three times in the 9-10 division.

Dakota Collins won the 8-under 50-meter freestyle in 57.47 seconds and the 25 backstroke in 29.78.

Carson Todd won the 11-12 division 50 butterfly in 47.91 and the 100 medley in 1:42.97 while finishing second in the 50 freestyle by 0.19 of a second. Owen McDaniel placed second in the 100 freestyle and in the 50 breaststroke by 0.25 of a second.

Elijah McAtee won the 100 backstroke in 1:27.03 at 13-14 while Vaughn won the 100 breaststroke in 1:27.41, won the 100 breaststroke in 1:27.41, the 200 medley in 2:43 and was second in the 100 freestyle by 0.08 of a second.

Bradley won the 50 freestyle in 29.78, the 100 backstroke in 1:23.25 and the 100 butterfly in 1:21.91 while Simone Anders placed second in the 100 breaststroke.

Kassing won the 100 freestyle in 1:29.31, took the 100 breaststroke in 55.28 and the 50 butterfly in 49.69.

Keona Sample won the 11-12 division 50 breaststroke in 45.03, was second in the 50 backstroke while Trinity Tuggle was second in the 100 freestyle and the 50 breaststroke by 0.63 of a second.

Madison Pennington, Addison Kirkman, Olivia Kirkman and Pamela Lagura won the 200 medley relay in the 13-14 division. Addison Kirkman placed second in the 100 backstroke.
