NEELYVILLE, Mo. - Jacob L. Davis, 27, of Fairdealing, Mo., died Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the emergency room of NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark. He was born on May 13, 1991 in Rockford, Ill. Jacob was a lifelong resident of Ripley County. He worked for Hall irrigation constructing irrigation pipe. Jacob enjoyed working on lawnmowers, trading arrowheads, hunting, rock hunting and riding his motorcycle. It is said he had a big heart like his Grandpa Jones.
Jacob is survived by his wife Jennifer, children; Jonathan Lee Davis and Jordyn Danielle Davis of the home, his parents; Jerry L. Davis and Tammy Jones, both of Fairdealing, three brothers; Donnie Marise of Ripley, Miss., Jeremy Davis of Corning, Ark. and Eldon Jones of Greenville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Martha and Lowell Jones and H.D. Davis and Vada James, and a brother; Joshua Ferguson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 at Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Family Cemetery in Naylor, Mo.
