ADVANCE -- Betty Jo Talley, 90, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Brownwood, Mo., passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Cedargate in Poplar Bluff.
She was born March 2, 1928, in Cardwell, Mo., the daughter of Henry and Martha Jane Schultz Biggs.
Betty had been a homemaker. She attended Brownwood General Baptist Church.
Betty and Oran Lemons were united in marriage in 1944 and he preceded her in death in February 1980. She later married Augie Talley on March 23, 1981 and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2002.
Survivors include: three sons, Joey (Kay) Lemons of Clarksville, Tenn., Tim Lemons of Lowndes, Mo. and Paul Lemons of Arab, Mo.; two daughters, Terry (Jim) Levart of Poplar Bluff and Kathy (Lonnie) Holt of Poplar Bluff; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Coffee Lemons; a granddaughter, Debbie Lemons Koch; grandson, Kevin Lemons; eight brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Burial will follow at Berrong Cemetery near Zalma.
