FISK, Mo. -- Carl "Wink" Trout, 83, of Broseley, Mo., died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his residence, in Broseley. Mr. Trout was born March 27, 1935 in Campbell, Mo. to the late Elmer and Esther Trout. He had served in the Air Force for over 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force he was Chief of Police at John J. Pershing VAMC for 10 years. He then worked for Pierce Petroleum for several years. He was an active member of Elk General Baptist Church...

FISK, Mo. -- Carl "Wink" Trout, 83, of Broseley, Mo., died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his residence, in Broseley.

Mr. Trout was born March 27, 1935 in Campbell, Mo. to the late Elmer and Esther Trout. He had served in the Air Force for over 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force he was Chief of Police at John J. Pershing VAMC for 10 years. He then worked for Pierce Petroleum for several years. He was an active member of Elk General Baptist Church.

On July 31, 1953 he married Dorothy Armor. She survives.

Also surviving are four sons: Carl Wayne Trout Jr., of Fort Worth, Texas, Keith Trout of Spring Hill, Fla., Ronnie Trout of Winchester, Tenn., Bryan Trout, Broseley; one sister: Imogene Ray of Black, Mo.; one brother: James Trout of Burton, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one grandchild and one brother.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at White Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev Johnny Meese and Rev Dean Williams officiating. Burial will be in Missouri Sate Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield,
