Several students from Southeast Missouri students were among the 19 students recognized with outstanding achievement awards for the 2017-2018 academic year during an honors banquet held by Southeast Missouri State University's Department of Agriculture.
The students were recognized for their academic excellence, participation in student organizations and off-campus service.
This year's honorees are:
Outstanding Student - Kennett Regional Campus: Rachael Lesslie of Kennett, Missouri
Outstanding Student - Sikeston Regional Campus: Katie Curry of Sikeston, Missouri, and Drew Palmer of New Madrid, Missouri
Outstanding Student - Malden Regional Campus: Kim Marlow of Gideon, Missouri, and Cameron Clark of Holcomb, Missouri
Outstanding Freshman: Payton Ruddy of Shelbyville, Missouri
Outstanding Horticulture Student: Tyler Wood of Columbia, Illinois
Outstanding Animal Science Students: Lindsey Wendler of St. Louis, Missouri, and Amanda Carpenter of Shelbina, Missouri
Outstanding Plant and Soil Science Students: Reid Millburg of Glenarm, Illinois, and Ben Tremain of Bridgeton, Missouri
Outstanding Agriculture Industry Students: Marty Aide of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Tyler Meyer of Washington, Missouri
