Ruby Bernice Dunn, 94, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at Westwood Hills Healthcare.
Mrs. Dunn, the daughter of the late James K. and Amanda E. (Montgomery) Rhodes, was born Aug. 1, 1923, in Camp, Ark. She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ and was a homemaker. Mrs. Dunn enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting with friends.
She married John F. Dunn in February of 1942 in West Plains, Mo. He preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2007.
Survivors include her three children, John Dennis (Bonny) Dunn of Fort Worth, Texas, Ken (Donna) Dunn of Liberty, Mo. and Debbie (John) Boehmer of Fisk, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Darla (Joe) Iniguez, Dace Dunn, Amanda Allen, Andy (Ashley) Dunn, Kelly Dunn, Chelsea (Evan) Willis, Christian Dunn and Joe Boehmer; nine great-grandchildren, Austin Dunn, Hannah Dunn, Taylor Iniguez, Hunter Iniguez, Parker Iniguez, Jake Boehmer, Beckah Boehmer Mac Dunn and Gus Dunn.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Slim Rhodes, Speck Rhodes and Dusty Rhodes and two sisters, Bea (Rhodes) Hitt and Jeffie (Rhodes) Hitt
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Friday at Highland Church of Christ with the funeral service following at noon. Mr. Vernon Curry will officiate. Burial will follow at City Cemetery.
