Douglas Gene Redwine, 55, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home. He was born Dec. 18, 1962 in Denver, Colo. Douglas worked as a die-caster for Briggs and Stratton. Douglas Gene Redwine, 55, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home.

He was born Dec. 18, 1962 in Denver, Colo. Douglas worked as a die-caster for Briggs and Stratton.

He was a member of American Legion Post 1000 and a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and working on automobiles. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.

On June 30, 2012 he married Edith Redwine in Poplar Bluff, she survives.

Also surviving are; mother, Lee Groves; stepfather, Don Groves; daughter, Nicole Miller; two sons, Britt Yates, Nathan Hastings; two sisters, Debbie Davis (Paul), Tammy Lloyd (Jonathan); brother, Roger Redwine; granddaughter, Paris; and grandson, Rome.

He was preceded in death by father, Bill Redwine.

Visitation will be from 2 - 3 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, Poplar Bluff followed by funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Freeman Jr. officiating.
