The Lady Raiders followed a big win with a big loss.
Three Rivers split with Mineral Area in a pair of shortened games, winning the opener 9-0 in six innings and losing the 9-1 in five innings.
"At this level, if you don't come out and compete you are going to get it handed to you and we did," Three Rivers coach Jeff Null said. "We came out hot, played well the first game. Their pitcher did a good job of locating and she was a little bit slower (in the second game). We weren't very discipline and it was just a crazy thing."
Summer Shockley (18-4) struck out 12 in the win, including the final six batters she faced. Shockley had a no-hitter going into the fourth inning, when Stacy Politte got the Cardinals only hit against her. Shockley also hit a batter and didn't give up any walks.
"She just got stronger and stronger. Umpire commented after the game that she didn't throw any balls over the middle of the plate, not ever," Null said.
Three Rivers (28-11) led 2-0 after four innings in the opener, then scored four runs in the fifth and another three in the sixth.
Kristyn Carpenter scored in both innings and finished 3 for 4 with two runs and a three-run homer in the sixth inning.
Ali Law also went 3 for 4. She doubled and scored in the fifth inning. Allison Pingel and Lindsey Elfrink each scored twice.
Carpenter singled with one out to kickoff the fifth inning and Gracie King followed with an RBI single.
Pingel reached on an error and Law doubled to put two runners in scoring position for Sophie Wunderlich, who singled to score them both and then stole second. Kirstien then drove in Wunderlich to put Three Rivers ahead 6-0.
Elfrink opened the sixth with a walk and Randi Scruggs reached on an error, setting the table for Carpenter's homer.
In the nightcap, Scruggs singled and scored in the first inning for Three Rivers' only run. She was 2 for 3 as Three Rivers finished with four hits in the game.
Mineral Area (12-18) scored in every inning and knocked Three Rivers pitcher Macy Rogers (7-2) out of the game after two innings.
