Three upcoming fire ecology workshops to Missouri. These workshops will deliver fire science to interested landowners and members of the general public, and include indoor presentations and in-the-field discussion. This series is brought to you through a partnership with the Oak Woodlands and Forests Fire Consortium, The Nature Conservancy, National Wild Turkey Federation, Missouri Department of Conservation, Mark Twain National Forest, and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

Attendees will learn about: the historical role and ecology of fire in the Missouri Ozarks; why public land managers in southern Missouri use prescribed fire; how fire can be used to manage wildlife habitat; and technical and cost sharing opportunities for fire management on private property

Lunch will be provided thanks to the Missouri Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Conservation Federation of Missouri.
