CORNING Ark. -- Helen Marie Banks, 78, of Corning passed away Feb. 26, 2018 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
Mrs. Banks was a homemaker and seamstress who enjoyed flower gardening, taking care of her pets, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church, Corning.
On June 8, 1974, she married her husband of 43 years, Allen Banks. He survives.
Other survivors include her daughter, Annah (Mark) Banks-Mullen of West Plains, Mo.; sister, Margie (Paul) Headley of Corning; and grandchildren, Merris and Cawyer.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Kevin Hayes; parents Sammie and Zelma (Kazzee) Turner; and sister, Nelma Jean Kirby.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Ermert Funeral Home, Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home with Elder Robert Moore officiating. Burial will be at Williams Cemetery, Corning.
