Dennis Ray Talley, 63 of Poplar Bluff, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on Feb. 1, 1955, to the late Carson and Jean (Chilton) Ellis at Red Bluff, CA. On Aug. 4, 1978, he married Ica Smith. She preceded him in death.
He was owner operator of T & T Cleaning Services, and was a volunteer fireman for Butler County in 1980-1985. He enjoyed fishing and more fishing, auctions, scrapping, buying storage buildings and spending time with family
Dennis is survived by his significant other, Karen Parsons; three daughters, Billie Jo Stamps(Billy), Teri (Richard) Talley, Felicia Parsons; Son, Josh (Angel) Parsons; grandson, Carson (C.J.) Talley; three granddaughters, Kimberly Talley, Rochelle "Buttercup" Parsons, Anna; sister, Carolyn Sullivan; brother, D.J. (Jaime) Ellis; two sister-in-laws, Carolyn Talley, Mary Ann Polin; three nieces, Mary Jean Bishop, Sherry Fouts, Vickie Talley; Five Nephews, David (Tammy) Gholson, Dwain (Shelley) Gholson, Kenny (Mechelle) Sullivan, Jimmy Talley, Doug Talley; 21 great-nieces and nephews;10 great-great nieces and nephews; sidekick, Tony Boyd; special friend, Perry James.
He was preceded in death by wife, Ica Denise Talley; father, Carson Talley; mother, Jean Ellis, step-father, Carroll Ellis; brothers, James Talley and Jimmy Talley; brother-in-law, Dale Sullivan; and niece, Debra Talley.
Visitation will be held 3:30-6 p.m. Wednesday at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, with the funeral service to begin at 6 p.m. with Kenneth King officiating.
Mr. Talley's wishes were to be cremated following the service. The family asks that you please keep that in mind when ordering flowers.
