Doris M. Mossman, 90, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at Westwood Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Feb. 20, 1928 at Bloomfield, Mo. to the late Issac W. Corbin and Pearl Brown Corbin. She was a long time resident of Butler County. Doris was of the Baptist faith.
On Sept. 28, 1948, she married Thomas Mossman at Bloomfield, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Doris was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery, and gardening.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Mossman and Keith Mossman, both of Poplar Bluff, and Wayne Mossman of Jackson, Mo.; three daughters, Betty Mossman, Lynn NcNew, and Nancy Phelps, all of Poplar Bluff; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death one daughter-in-law, Michele Mossman.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 at at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim Schremp and Rev. Richard Blagg will officiate. Burial will be at Wappapello Cemetery.
