Morse will serve on three separate committees while representing District 151 in the House. His committees will include the Agriculture Policy, Corrections and Public Institutions and Consent and House Procedures.

Morse will serve with 12 others on the Agriculture Policy Committee, with nine others on the Corrections and Public Institutions Committee and 12 others on the Consent and House Procedures Committee.

In a recent update, Morse confirmed recent House bills passed since convening in the chamber Jan. 3, for the second session of the 99th General Assembly. Among the items that will be come before the current session, Morse said, will be a lobbyist gift ban, regulatory reform and passing a balanced budget.

Most notable recently was the passing of House Bill 1246, which serves as a step forward in addressing human trafficking in Missouri. The bill requires certain places, such as airports and train stations, to display posters informing victims of resources and services available to them.

Morse encourages members of the 151st District to contact him should they have any concerns or issues to discuss. He may be reached at 751-1494 or 820-7502.
