PIEDMONT, Mo. -- Robert Eugene "Bob" Frye, 78, of Piedmont, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at his residence.
Bob was born Aug. 27, 1939, to parents Earnie and Delphia (Duncan) Frye at Eminence, Mo. He grew up in the Ellington area, attending school there and later moved to St. Louis where he became a St. Louis City police officer. In spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and being ornery. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and great-grandfather.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Lois, of 55 years; son, Robert Bradley Frye of Piedmont; daughters, Vicky Fowler and husband Troy of Fisk, Mo., and Becky Frye of Piedmont; grandchildren, Jordan Fowler, Alexandria Lee, Matthew Green; great-grandchildren, Peyton Fowler and one on the way; and sister, Shirley Zook of Piedmont.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Wanda Davis.
