Ron Resnik, 71, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on July 3, 1946, to Lawrence and Vineta (Womack) Resnik in Poplar Bluff. He graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1964. After graduation, he attended Christan Brothers College in Memphis, Tenn., and then enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant. Ron owned Resnik Insurance Adjusting Services for over 40 years.
On Oct. 7, 1967, he married Dianna Kaimon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff.
Ron was an avid golfer and whiffle ball enthusiast.
Ron is survived by his loving spouse of 50 years, Dianna, of the home; two sons, Jeffery Resnik of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Todd (Julie) Resnik of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren, Brettine Rayburn, Teylor Resnik, Trevor Resnik, and Karolina Resnik; two great-grandchildren, Axel and Abel Rayburn; and one sister, Sandy (Gary) England of Poplar Bluff.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.Mass of Christian Burial will be11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff.Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Ron Resnik to the special education program at Sacred Heart School in Poplar Bluff.
