ELLSINORE -- Twin Rivers junior Hayden Thomas scored his 1,000th point Friday.
Backed by Thomas' 23 points, the Royals won 65-49. Twin Rivers led by eight after the first quarter, and then tacked on five points in the third.
Thomas had seven points in the first quarter before a scoreless second. He got going in the third with a pair of field goals and a pair of free throws. He then had nine of Twin Rivers' 18 points in the fourth quarter, including three free throws.
Aaron Mittelstadt added 14 points and Jamie Robards got 12.
Dalton Rudd led East Carter with 20 points.
Risco 68, Van Buren 66
The Risco Tigers outscored Van Buren 26-19 in the third quarter Friday night at Risco.
Van Buren led 15-13 after one quarter and 29-25 at halftime. The Tigers took a 51-48 lead into the fourth quarter where Risco went five for 11 from the free-throw line to hold on.
Trey Nicholson scored a game-high 21 points for Van Buren. Hayden Towner added 19.
Nathan Burnett and Morgan Ludwig scored 20 each for Risco.
Clearwater 61, Valley 43
The Tigers outscored Valley of Caledonia 35-14 over the middle two quarters Friday night Piedmont.
Clearwater held quarter leads of 15-12, 27-19 and 50-26.
Colton Bennett paced Clearwater with 24 points, and Heath Ayers scored 17.
Malden 80, Doniphan 59
Dushawn Butler paced the Green Wave with 28 points, 21 of it in the first half. He had 11 of Malden's 16 points in the first quarter and 10 of their 19 points in the second quarter. Chence Booker made four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points.
Trent Lippoldt led Doniphan with 26 points, all of it in the second half. He had 18 of Doniphan's 20 points in the third quarter.
Portageville 61, Campbell 41
Blake Fowler led the No. 7 Camels with 16 points and Jacob Vines had 10 in the opening round of the Bootheel Conference Tournament. Hunter Gates had 15 points for No. 2 Portageville. Daniel Carter and Ian Torry both had 13.
Malden 79, Caruthersville 58
Dushawn Butler led the Green Wave with 29 points, Malcolm McBride got 15 and Dee Triplett added 11 in the first round of the Bootheel Conference Tournament.

Malden 57, Holcomb 22
Malden held No. 8 Holcomb to 12 points in the first half and didn't allow more than eight points in aany quarter.
Lana Reed had 19 points for the top-seeded Green Wave in the first round of the Bootheel Conference Tournament. Jada Criglar added 18.

South Pemiscot 38
Claire Parker led the No. 3 Camels with 27 points after going 6 for 8 at the foul line in the fourth quarter. Parker also had 17 points in the first half. emily Peters added 10 points for Campbell.
Damaris Farmer had 12 points for No. 6 South Pemiscot.
