CAMPBELL, Mo. - Helen Thompson, 65 of Campbell, passed away on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Kennett, Mo.
Helen, daughter of Melvin and Fern Wheeling Wiley, was born on Friday, Jan. 2, 1953 in Malden, Mo.
She graduated from Southeast University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was a retired third grade Teacher having taught in Campbell and was a member of the Campbell General Baptist Church.
On March 18, 1978 in Bloomfield, Mo., she was united in marriage to Windell Ray Thompson. He survives.
Other survivors include her mother, Fern Wiley of Malden; son, Joey Thompson and wife, Cindy of Campbell; daughter, Mandy Kerperien and husband, Vincent of Lafe, Ark.; four grandchildren, Collin Thompson and Jace Thompson both of Campbell; Neil Kerperien and Lily Kerperien, both of Lafe, Arkansas; three brothers, Nathan Wiley, Ernie Wiley and wife, Kay, Gaylon Wiley and wife, Pam; mother-in-law, Billie Jean Thompson of Campbell; brother-in-law, Dennis Thompson and wife, Linda; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Wiley.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 22 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Darren Baker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Glennonville.
