Ronald Porter, 75, of Grandin, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 at his residence.
He was born in Kansas City, Mo. Dec. 8, 1942, to the late William E. Porter and Burnis Jones Porter. He attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Ronald served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He then was a manager of the tire department of Sam's Club.
In 1962 Ronald married Roberta Hadzima in California. She survives.
He also is survived by two sons, Alan Porter of Grandin, and Michael Porter of Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Laura Davis and Ronda Porter, both of Grandin; one sister, Nancy Poden of the Lake of the Ozarks; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday 10 a.m. Jan. 20, 2018 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Father Bill Hogdson will officiate. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
