NEELYVILLE, Mo.-- Dorothy Spencer, 70, of Harviell passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018 at Westwood Healthcare in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Sept. 11, 1947 in Portageville, Mo. She married Elvin Spencer (of 50 years) on Feb. 8, 1964. He preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 2014.
Dorothy loved to play bingo, have Sunday lunches and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Gladys Muller.
Survivors include three children, Eddie Spencer (Ashley) of Harviell, Lisa Spencer of Poplar Bluff and Scott Spencer (Tammy) of Poplar Bluff. She has eight grandchildren, Michael Spencer-Hays and wife Amanda, Taylor Nugent and husband Christopher, Shelly Thurman, Britney Clark and husband Austin, Dustin Spencer and Lane Spencer, Addison Payne-Hardin and Weslynn Hardin. She has six great-grandchildren, Cecillia and Thomas Spencer-Hays, Alexandra, Caitlynn, Brooklyn Nugent and Zack Thurman.
Survivors also include six sisters, Jane Hunter, Lou Wheeler (Carl), Martha Dee (Jerry), Peggy Muller- Hines, Cindy Shelton( Gary) and Shavon Barnett. Also five brothers, Ed Muller (Carol), Muggs Muller, Fred Muller, Gene Muller, Davon Muller. Deceased brothers are Bill Muller, Jerry (Bo) Muller, and Clarence Muller.
She will be loved and missed by everyone around her. An indoor graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14 at Fowler and Sons funeral home in Neelyville, Mo. Burial will follow immediately at Spencer cemetery in Harviell, Mo.
