NAYLOR -- The Royals held Naylor without a field goal in the third quarter and pulled away with 15 points of their own as Twin Rivers won 52-34.
Catey Hester led Twin Rivers (9-5, 2-0 OFC) in the third with all seven of her points while Naylor focused on slowing down Twin Rivers leading scorer Katelyn South, who finished with 25 points.
"We have seen it all year, but they face guarded Katelyn South and tried to take her out of our offense. Our other kids stepped up and hit some shots when they were being neglected and I was proud of them," Twin Rivers coach Kelly Westerfield said. "That makes the defense have to pay attention to all of our kids and gets South back in there, too."
South did most of her damage early and late. She had 11 points in the first quarter and nine in the fourth while getting one field goal in each of the middle quarters.
Callee Pickrell led Naylor (6-9, 1-3) with 16 points a day after scoring 45.
"Pickrell can score 30 or more on any given night since she has such a size advantage," Westerfield said. "We took a risk and allowed the shot to an extent and then tried to control the boards. We held her to 16 points which I consider to be pretty good."

Neelyville jumped out in front after outscoring Van Buren 22-10 in the first quarter, and held onto the lead the rest of the way.
