NAYLOR -- Callee Pickrell put up 45 points for the Eagles, the most by any Naylor player since at least 2006, as Naylor beat East Carter 63-32 in an Ozark Foothills Conference game. The senior center had 19 field goals and was 7 for 13 at the foul line. She had 26 points in the first half and 37 going into the fourth quarter, out-scoring all of East Carter with a quarter to spare. Pickrell scored all but six of Naylor's points in the middle two quarters of the game...

Pickrell, who is committed to play softball for Three Rivers next year, topped Hailee Deckard's 41 points from 2006.

Naylor (6-8) took a 21-6 lead after the first quarter and took a 28 point lead into the fourth.

Audrey Carter led East Carter (2-9) with 10 points.

Bloomfield 35, Caruthersville 31

Ashton Bell scored 12 points and Tyrah Hartle had 10 Monday night to lead the Bloomfield Wildcats to a 35-31 win, the second in the program's two-year history.

The Wildcats (2-5) trailed 10-5 after one quarter and 16-14 at halftime. They pulled ahead 27-24 after three quarters.

Keara Johnson scored a game-high 25 points for Caruthersville.

Campbell 72,

South Pemiscot 48

The Camels had four players in double figures as they outscored South Pemiscot by 10 points in both the first and fourth quarter.

Claire Parker led Campbell with 20 points. Madison Burns added 18, Emily Peters got 16 and Elizabeth Steward got 14.

Lakeyia Brown had 17 points for South Pemiscot.

South Iron 60, Doniphan 52

Jakelyn Friend and Savannah Aaron each had 15 to lead the Donettes. Both made three 3-pointers. Friend also had a pair of 2s and two free throws, while Aaron had one 2 and four free throws. Paide Eddington also had 11 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Risco 79, Clarkton 66

Lee Matney had 24 points for the Reindeer and Allen Matney had 16. Clarkton led by a point after the first quarter, but slowly fell behind as the game went on. Layne Morgan also had 13 points for Clarkton. EJ Meyers led Risco with 21 points, all on 3-pointers. Morgan Ludwig finished with 20 points and Nathan Burnett had 19.

Puxico 107, Zalma 80

Levi Woods finished with 50 points for the Indians, who scored 42 points in the fourth quarter as a team. Woods had 17 points in the fourth quarter and at least 10 in every quarter. He finished with 18 field goals and was 14 for 16 at the free-throw line.

Dalton King made four 3-pointers and finished with 17 points for Puxico. Braiden James added 12 points and Brady Hart had 11.

Puxico led by nine points after the third before running away with things as both teams combined for 64 points in the final eight minutes.
