BLOOMFIELD -- Nate Dillinger scored 30 points, and the third-seeded Bernie Mules rolled past Bloomfield 76-55 in a fifth-place semifinal Thursday at the 61st annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.
The Mules (10-1) rebounded from a 17-point loss to sixth-seeded Doniphan in the quarterfinals Wednesday to beat 10th-seeded Bloomfield, who fell to 6-4.
The Mules will face East Prairie in the fifth-place final at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The Eagles beat Kennett 71-60 in the other semifinal.
Dillinger scored 12 of Bernie's 23 first-quarter points, as the Mules built a 16-point lead after one quarter. They led 39-26 at halftime and 56-41 after three quarters.
Michael Suiter added 19 points for the Mules.
Peyton Bell paced Bloomfield with 15 points, and Dalton Phillips had 13.
The teams combined for 12 3-pointers with Bernie making a game-high seven.
Twin Rivers 50,
South Pemiscot 42
The 13th-seeded Twin Rivers Royals built a 15-point lead after three quarters and held off eighth-seeded South Pemiscot 50-42 in a consolation semifinal.
The Royals (6-5) will meet seventh-seeded Portageville in the consolation final at 4 p.m. Friday. Portageville beat Puxico 70-53 in the other semifinal.
Twin Rivers held quarter leads of 18-9, 25-16 and 37-23. The Bulldogs held a 19-13 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter, but Zach Hargraves and Hayden Thomas combined to make seven of 10 free throws to secure the win for Twin Rivers.
Thomas paced Twin Rivers with 15 points, Hargraves had 12 and Jamie Robards had 11.
Portageville 70, Puxico 53
Ian Torrey scored 25 points Thursday with 23 coming in the first three quarters where seventh-seeded Portageville built a commanding lead in a consolation semifinal.
The Bulldogs, who led 19-15 after one quarter, outscored Puxico 44-19 over the middle two quarters.
Hunter Gates added 18 points, and Bub Lance scored 12 for Portageville, which improved to 6-2.
Dalton King and Levi Woods scored 14 points each to lead Puxico.
