WAPPAPELLO, Mo. - Debra Ann Potter, 56, of Wappapello, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017.
Debbie, the daughter of Velbert Earl Hammack and Ted Ola Williams, was born April 21, 1961 in St. Louis, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith. Debbie was a long time employee of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, where she was a secretary for the Same Day Services Department. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On May 22, 1982 she married Richard Potter, Sr. in St. Charles, Mo. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her five children, Lisa Potter, Ethel Van Slyke, Richard Potter, Jr, Nichole Van Slyke and Brittany Peoples; her mother, Ted Ola Williams; a brother, Thomas Hammack and a sister, Linda Kurtz.
Her father, Velbert Earl Hammack, preceded Debbie in death.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Wappapello, Mo. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Jim Osborn officiating. Burial will follow at Puxico City Cemetery.
