DEXTER, Mo. - Colleen Phillips, 100, daughter of the late Sylvester Page and Ethel Johns Page was born Aug. 6, 1917 in Mount Vernon, Ill. and departed this life on Dec. 19, 2017 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Mo.
Colleen was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield where she was active in the United Methodist Women. She had served on the Stoddard County Election Board for many years. She was the Past-President of the Stoddard County Historical Society and was a member of the Stoddard County Democratic Women's Club where she was honored as their Women Of The Year.
She was united in marriage to Floyd E. Phillips Sept. 25, 1932 in Bloomfield, Mo. Mr. Phillips preceded her in death July 1, 1984.
Survivors include: two daughters, Rosemary Sanders (Carl) of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Veta Musgrave (Denton) of Dexter, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two brothers, Gene Page and Virgil Page; two sisters, Leona Hewett and Evelyn DePriest.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Interment will follow at the Bloomfield Cemetery.
