DEXTER, Mo.-- Mertie G. Cates, 97, of Dexter died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter.
Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, until time for services at 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. Steve Tippen of Bloomfield, Mo, officiating and Rev. Gerald Hart of Bertrand, Mo. assisting. Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
