VAN BUREN -- The Bulldogs made as many 2s as they did 3s -- 10. However, they made just one 3-pointer in the fourth quarter as Eminence rallied from six points down to win 67-64 at Van Buren.
Conner Jackson led Van Buren with 18 points after making six 3-pointers. He sank three of them in the third quarter as Van Buren put up 22 points in the quarter.
Keetien Perkins and Jacob Brown each had two 3s for Van Buren. Brown finished with 11 points and Hayden Towner had 14.
Malden 66, Kennett 42
Chience Booker paced the Green Wave with 18 points, hitting four of Malden's six 3-pointers in a home win Tuesday.
Malden's Dushawn Butler added 16 points while senior center Donetarrian Triplett added 12 points.
The Green Wave (5-1) extended a 12-7 lead to start the second quarter into a 32-16 halftime advantage.
Clarkton 54, Naylor 43
Lee Matney finished with 25 points to lead the Reindeer in the Clarkton Christmas Tournament.
Clarkton held Naylor to 16 points in the first half and led by 11 at the break before pushing it to 15 points going into the fourth quarter.
Zeke Ward led Naylor with 13 points and TJ Roson added 10.
Cooter 82, East Carter 69
Dalton Rudd and Lane Chilton both scored more than 20 points for the Redbirds in the loss in the Clarkton Christmas Tournament.
Rudd made a pair of 3s and led East Carter (2-5) with 22 points. Chilton matched him with nine total field goals and add a trio of free throws. Tied at halftime, East Carter was outscored by at least six points in both the third and fourth quarters.
Notre Dame 54,
New Madrid Central 40
Tyler Landewee recorded a game-high 19 points and tallied four rebounds and three steals to lead the Bulldogs in the conference win at home over the Eagles.
Dawson Dohogne contributed 16 points and six rebounds for Notre Dame (4-2, 2-0 SEMO), which was up eight points at halftime and outscored the Eagles by six points in the second half.
Thailin Marsh finished with 17 points to sustain New Madrid County Central (2-6, 0-1) in the loss.

Van Buren 62,
Eminence 56
The Lady Dawgs dominated the first quarter and then held the lead for the rest of the game. Rosalee Cipponeri led Van Buren with 23 points and Kerstin Barrett added 13. Van Buren led by 15 points after the first quarter and by 14 going into the fourth.
WRESTLING
Poplar Bluff lost a pair of duals Tuesday night in Farmington as the host Knights won 41-33 and Waynesville beat the Mules 55-21.
Kade Richardson, Tanner Dunivan and Wyatt Lazalier earned pins against Farmington while Quentin Bell won 13-6, Xavier Bartlett earned a 1-0 win and heavyweight Kendric Gordon won 4-1. Austin Aubuchon was pinned in overtime while Josh Lawrinenko and Nic Hampton were pinned in the final minute.
Bell and Gordon got pins, Bartlett won 6-1 and Dunivan lost 1-0 against Waynesville.
Poplar Bluff, 6-4 in duals, travels to Cape Girardeau on Friday and Saturday for the Tiger Classic.
