QULIN, Mo. - Howard Stanley Stevenson, age 90, of Qulin, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Mr. Stevenson was born Tuesday, Jan. 18, 1927 in Des Arc, Mo., to the late Glen and Ollie (Howard) Stevenson. Mr. Stevenson had worked as an Engineer for Terminal Railroad. He had served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Stevenson was a member of Qulin Lions Club. He had also attended Fagus General Baptist Church.
On Sept. 12, 1991 he married Lois Hicks, she survives. Also surviving are one daughter: Janis Yaccovelli and husband Jack of St. Louis, Mo.; one son: Ron Stevenson and wife Barbara of St. Louis; five step children: Carolyn Hutson and husband Larry, Steve Yeley, Vicki Carnahan and husband Sherman, Gary Yeley and wife Joan, Kenny Yeley; and several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at noon on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
