NAYLOR -- Eathan Brown had a great night at the free-throw line, regardless of what the percentages say.
Brown, who was 5 for 12 on foul shots, sank two free throws with 2 seconds left to put Naylor in front for the 57-56 win over visiting Puxico.
"I love the grit, determination and resiliency I'm seeing from our guys," Naylor coach Jim Carrier said. "Two of them Zeke (Ward) and Eathan both played terrific games. After missing every free throw in the first half, Eathan steps up and hits the two biggest free throws of his life. I couldn't be more proud and happy for a player."
Brown finished with 15 points and Ward had 22 as Naylor (3-1) went 6 for 20 on free throws as a team.
Andrew Geohagan led Puxico (2-3) with 16 points while Levi Woods and Brady Hart each had 13.
Bloomfield 59, Kelly 27
Peyton Bell made four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 22 points in the Bloomfield Wildcats' 59-27 victory over Kelly on Tuesday night at Bloomfield High School.
Dalton Phillips added 12 points for the Wildcats, who improved to 3-1.
Peyton Elfrink paced Kelly with nine points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Twin Rivers 78, Clearwater 60
Katelyn South had a career night with 41 points for Twin Rivers.
South, who had never scored 30 in a game, also had five steals and nine rebounds. Brooke Blume added 18 points after a strong start with 10 points in the first quarter and 14 in the first half for the Royals (4-0).
Clearwater's Halle Gooch had 20 points while Rachel Rowold and Cheyanne Burton each had 16.
Jackson 50, Naylor 31
Callee Pickrell had 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Eagles (1-4), who coach Gene Deckard said showed good effort after starting two freshman.

Dexter 57,
New Madrid Central 15
Travis Waldner, Jett Featherston, Caleb Coons and Colten Gibson each pinned their opponents Tuesday night, and the Dexter Bearcats beat New Madrid County Central 57-15 in a wrestling match Tuesday night at New Madrid.
Waldner pinned Kannon Nowell at 5:46 in the 126-pound match, Featherson (182) pinned Herman Jackson at 4:42, Coons (195) pinned Brett Gerecke at 2:51 and Gibson (220) pinned John Michael Stanley at 41 seconds.
