Poplar Bluff Street Department workers will conduct leaf pick up through Jan. 26.
Leaves will be picked up by ward, with work starting Monday in Ward 2.
The schedule is as follows: Ward 2, through Dec. 8; Ward 3, Dec. 11-22; Ward 4, Dec. 27-Jan. 12; and Ward 5, Jan. 15-26.
Residents are asked to pile leaves in their yards, along the street, prior to the first day of pick up for their ward. The leaves should not be placed in the street or drainage ditch.
Ward 1 pick up has already been held, according to the city, but a city landfill can also be used for leaf disposal.
Leaves may be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the site on County Road 604, in east Poplar Bluff. The site can be accessed by taking Bartlett Street to F Street, under the Union Pacific Railroad crossing. The gravel portion of the road will curve left, becoming County Road 604.
The disposal site is on the left side of the road.
