The Oak Grove Homemakers Club met Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the home of Donna Pirc.
Martha Dee gave the invocation for Thanksgiving dinner. Dorothy Robbins presided over the business meeting. Helen gave a devotional on an article about "Sassy", an English setter which was a touching example of God's amazing grace. Scripture reading was 2nd Corinthians 5:21.
Roll call was answered by the worst Thanksgiving meal members had prepared. Answers about the meals turned out to be very interesting and humorous. Nine members were present with three visitors, Lori Mikel, Tiffany Cole and Brayden Cole.
Business consisted of voting for members to donate ten dollars to a charitable organization in lieu of a Christmas gift exchange. At the December meeting, club members will install new officers for the coming year and yearly dues will be paid.
Nellie Woods won the door prize. Pirc opened her hostess gifts and thanked everyone. Tammie Bogie plans to be the December Christmas hostess. Club was concluded with the recitation of the Club Collect.
