FISK, Mo. - Margaret Simpson, age 98, of Poplar Bluff, MO, formerly of Fisk, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Swift Creek Residential Facility, in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Simpson was born September 12, 1919 in Marion, IL, daughter of the late Carl and Clara (Miller) Sherertz. She formerly attended the House of Prayer in Fisk. On June 9, 1985 she married James N Simpson Jr. at the Four Square Gospel Church. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1992. She is survived by one granddaughter: Deborah Edmondson of Saint Peters, MO; two grandsons: James Simpson of Poplar Bluff, and Tim Simpson; six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew. She was also preceded in death by one brother: Thomas Carl Sherertz. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Shain Memorial Cemetery in Fisk with Brother David Tremaine officiating.
