Delmar Cross, 86, of Poplar Bluff passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Cross was born Sept. 26,1931 in Malden. Delmar was a member of Cross Street Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed playing bass in different bands. He had been a truck driver.
He married Mary Cross (Board) Jan. 17, 1948 in Elgin, Ill. She survives. Also surviving are children: Jim Cross, Sheri Smith and David Cross: a brother, Don Cross; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Cross; his father, Wentford Cross; and mother; Verda Cross (Bagby)
Visitation will be at noon, Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff and the service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Nancy Lotz officiating. Burial will be in Ash Hill East.
