KENNETT, Mo. - Imogene Lightfoot, daughter of the late Claude William Mitchell and Maude Frances (Oliver) Mitchell was born Oct. 5, 1922 in Senath, Mo. and departed this life on Sept. 26, 2017 at the age of 94 years.
Survivors include six grandchildren: Larry Allen Key, Jr. Gayla Ward, Tracy Key, Jason Key, Mike Key and Jeana Key; Nine great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; One sister: Beulah Elkins of Cabot, Ark.; Special caregivers: Sharon Darby, Jeremy Vaughn, Ms. Pauline, Justina Goldman and Steve and Gary Britton; and other relatives and friends.
Imogene was preceded in death by husbands, Nathan Key and Raymond Lightfoot; one son: Larry Allen Key, Sr.; two brothers: Leroy Mitchell and C.W. Mitchell; and one great-granddaughter.
Imogene passed away Sept. 26, 2017 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Mo. She was a member of the Calvary General Baptist Church in Dexter, Mo.
Visitation was at noon on Friday, Sept. 29 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Mo. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 29 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Mo. Rev. Danny Collins officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers were: Mike Mitchell, Jeremy Vaughn, Jason Key, Allen Key, Mike Key, Keith Ward and Jason Ryan.
