FISK, Mo. -- Myrtle Willeford, 92, of Fisk, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Mrs. Willeford was born March 7, 1925, in Fisk, daughter of the late Sanford and Flossie Hayes. She was a member of Highland Drive Church of Christ.
On Nov. 8, 1944, she married Cecil Willeford. He preceded in death July 22, 1996.
She enjoyed crocheting and watching old television programs.
She is survived by two sons, Vernon Willeford and wife, Charlene, of Gray Summit, Mo., and Walter Willeford and wife, Debbie, of Broseley, Mo.; three daughters, Linda Nelson and husband, Ralph, of Poplar Bluff, Nola Swain and husband, Dale, of Broseley and Anita Kester of Bernie; four sisters, Norma Purvis, Sally Laird and Sue Troutman, all of Fisk, and Marvelene Loberg of Poplar Bluff; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Leonard Willeford.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with Brother Vernon Curry officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Cemetery at Fisk.
