Dimon Lee Sansoucie, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 30, 1938, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., to the late Chris Sansoucie and Delta (Rennison) Sansoucie.
He is survived by his fiance, Glenna Keown; his daughter, Diana Inman of Dexter, Mo.; one sister, Carolyn Deaton of Poplar Bluff; as well as four grandchildren, Jeremy, Sarah, Susan and Shannon; and three great-grandchildren, Amelia, Noah and Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one sister, Wanda, and three brothers, Lloyd, Chris Michael and Ivan.
Mr. Sansoucie was a self employed welder and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading his bible. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff. He had served in the United States Army and had been a member of Poplar Bluff Masonic Lodge.
Visitation will start at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel, Inc. of Neelyville, Mo., with a Masonic service beginning at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the City Cemetery at Poplar Bluff with Royce Champion officiating.
