DEXTER Mo. -- Ricky Lee Cooper, son of Terry Cooper of Doniphan, Mo. and the late Carolyn Cantrell Cooper was born Feb. 14, 1964 in Lexington, Mo. and departed this life June 22, 2017 at his residence in Memphis, Tenn. at the age of 53.
Mr. Cooper received his Bachelor of Science Degree at Baptist College of Health Sciences in Memphis, Tenn. He worked in Nuclear Medicine at the V. A. Medical Center in Memphis. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and was a resident of Memphis, Tennessee.
Besides his father Terry and step-mother, Evelyn Cooper of Doniphan, he is survived by two brothers, David Cooper and wife Diana of Bloomfield and Steven Cooper and wife Dawn of Louisville, Ky.
Friends may call at the Doniphan Methodist Church in Doniphan, Mo. on Saturday July 15, 2017 from 9-10 a.m. A Memorial service will then be conducted at 10 a.m. with Rev. Kent Wilfong, Rev. George Nite and Rev. Jim Cooper officiating.
Interment will follow at a later date in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo.
