Hot dogs, sunshine and St. Louis Cardinals baseball can be found at the Three Rivers College Day at the Ballpark, scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Saturday, July 29, in St. Louis.

Sponsored by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust, the second annual event offers reduced price tickets for fans to watch the Cardinals take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Busch Stadium, all while supporting the college.

TRC Director of Development Michelle Reynolds would like to remind the public tickets are still available and said the preferred purchase deadline is July 12. Any remaining tickets after that date will be "extremely limited," she continued.

"If there's one thing we all have in common in Southeast Missouri, it's a love of the St. Louis Cardinals and a love of baseball," Reynolds said.

General admission tickets are $25 each for reserved seating in sections 128B-130B. According to Reynolds, face value on the tickets is $61.

Reynolds said a few seats are still available for round-trip transportation provided by the college for $15 each. The bus is scheduled to leave at 2:30 p.m. on the day of the game from the Bess Activity Center.

There are also a handful of luxury tickets remaining for $250 each, which include air-conditioned box seating, complimentary food and drinks and round-trip bus transportation.

"We were really thrilled to get a Saturday night game this year and we're looking forward to a great day," Reynolds said.

The game takes place on a Cardinals promo night. The first 30,000 fans aged 16 and over will receive a replica 1919 jersey. Again this year, Cindy White and members of the TRC Choir will lead the crowd in singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Three Rivers Endowment Trust Annual Fund, which is used to support students in Southeast Missouri.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting Reynolds at 573-840-9077 or michellereynolds@trcc.edu, Edie Dilbeck at 573-840-9688 or edilbeck@trcc.edu or at Poplar Bluff Realty located at 1800 N. Westwood Blvd.
