FISK, Mo. - Julieanne Patterson, age 75, of Fisk, died Sunday, July 02, 2017 at Puxico Nursing Center, in Puxico, Mo. Mrs. Patterson daughter of the late John and Mary Ellen Vernon was born August 25, 1941 in Ridgley, Tenn. She was a member of Fisk Presbyterian Church at Fisk. Mrs. Patterson was very dedicated to her community and family. She had taught school in the Twin Rivers School District and had been sponsor of the FBLA. She helped organize and operate the Fisk Community Library and was active in many other school and community events. On December 21, 1963 she married Jerrol Patterson at the Fisk Presbyterian Church. He survives. Also surviving are one son: Charles Patterson (Bridget) of Fisk; two daughters: Angela Patterson-Allen (Clayton) of Puxico and Beverly Patterson (Steve) of Fisk: five grandchildren: Anabelle, Lanie, Sadie, Drake and Sidney; two sisters: Janice McCane of Dexter and Nancy Jones of Poplar Bluff; two brothers: Steve Vernon of Fisk, and David Vernon of Poplar Bluff. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Fisk Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.
