The Butler County Fair will be Sept. 28-30 at Ray Clinton park.
It will be held in conjunction with the Iron Horse Festival during the same time.
The fair will bring back entertainment like barrel racing, bull riding, tractor and truck pull, and the demo derby. The kids power wheel derby will be back. It also will host 4H & FFA animal show and sale. The kids can enter rabbits, chickens, goats, and sheep. There will also be the home-ec and 4H exhibits, as well as the beauty pageant to be held in the Black River Coliseum.
The fair parade will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23. Lineup will be at Hydro Adventures water park.
Persons who would like to help plan or execute any part of the fair should come to any Fair Board meeting. Meetings are held 6 p.m. the second Tuesday of every month at First United Methodist Church on Main Street.
