Updates for Wappapello Lake includes dates road openings, information about sites, boat ramps and camping sites, as well as special events.

The Pine Ridge Trail and Fish Cleaning Station are closed until Friday, June 30. This area is a construction site and off limits to the public. Repairs to Highway T is on schedule and it will be open by July 4th weekend, Corps officials project.

Open facilities: Redman Creek and Sundowner Recreation areas; Rockwood Point Boat Ramp and Beach Parking Area; Chaonia Landing Boat Ramp and Restroom; Snow Creek campground. Peoples Creek Lower Campground, Greenville Boat Ramp and Holliday Landing Boat Ramp re-opened June 15.

Clean-up continues at the Greenville Day-Use and Campground. The Greenville Campground and Memory Lane Trail are both temporarily closed due to major damage from the flood and wind storm on Memorial Day weekend. This is a cultural historic site location. Therefore work must be done in a cautious manner. Extensive work will include electrical upgrade, full hook-up including sewer at designated campsites, campsites lengthened and widened, replacement of wayside interpretive exhibits, repair of sidewalks, etc. Corp officials apologize for any inconvenience but these repairs are long overdue and are necessary before the campground and Trail reopens. There is still a lot of work to do there and at other areas as the water recedes. Everyone is working hard to get the area safe to use. Volunteer help to restore the areas will be welcomed once some of the safety hazards have been removed. Officials will keep everyone posted.

The recycle bins located near the Management Office are available for public use.
