Devora Lee Kingery, age 59, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, May 19, 2017 in Butler County.

Devora "Tiddle" was born June 9, 1957 in Benton Harbor, Mich. She graduated from Corning High School in Corning, Ark. and spent her summers working for her parents at Sugar Creek Country Club in Piggott, Ark. Devora attended Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, where she enjoyed her Sunday School Group and the visits they made to nursing home. She loved working in the medical field and loved volunteering at Copper Top.

Devora is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Peace, mother, Ruth Burns Peace and brother, Stan Peace.

Those who are left to celebrate her life and continue her legacy are her husband, Sonny Kingery; six children: Amy (Chris) Ketron of Georgia, Casey (Kim) McCutcheon of Tennessee, Karen Kingery of Michigan, Greg (Laura) Kingery of Poplar Bluff, Kim Leonard of Michigan and Brandi (Ed) Barrett of Van Buren; grandchildren: Lukas and Jackson Ketron and Madison and Zachary Kingery; three brothers: Bobby (Marcia) Peace of Maine, Kevin (Mary Lou) Peace of Poplar Bluff and Jeffrey (Angie) Peace of Doniphan; a sister, Terry (David) Hunger of Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends and neighbors.

Anyone wanting to pay their last respects to Devora and her family can do so at Westwood Baptist Church from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 24. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Dr. Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will be at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.

We all know that Devora touched so many lives with her kindness and love. We've all heard the expression "A penny for your thoughts".
