Hadley Andrew Barber, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away at his home on Monday, May 15, 2017.

Mr. Barber was born June 27, 1937 at his parents' home in Butler County, Mo. and his life was transformed by the Holy Spirit in 1993 when God changed his life to serve the Lord.

Hadley is survived by his wife, Betty (Gilbert-Knowles) Barber of 31 years where they shared their life in Poplar Bluff and with his faithful companion, Maggie, in his lap and bedside throughout the years.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Braidy and Jewell Barber, two sisters; Pauline Mhyre and Nancy Hellums, all of Poplar Bluff.

He is survived by four children Jennifer and James Waggoner of West Fork, Ark. and her mother Belva Jewell, of Poplar Buff, Mo., Tracy Quinter of Patterson, Hadley Anthony and Janel Barber of Neelyville and their mother Barbara Hook of Poplar Bluff, and Holly and Gary Honey of St. Louis, Mo., 13 grandchildren, 16 great;grandchildren, one sister, Mavis and Ray David Dugal of Poplar Bluff and several nieces and nephews.

Hadley was a carpenter craftsman and loved to play music with his guitar. He was an accomplished western artist and life-long St. Louis' Cardinals fan. He was an elder of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be at the 1st Presbyterian Church, 301 N. Main, Poplar Bluff, Mo. on Friday, May 19 at 10 a.m. with the funeral following at 11 a.m. with Bishop Kent Miller of the Palace of Praise officiating. Graveside is Poplar Bluff City Cemetery. Lunch immediately after the graveside, will be provided for family and friends at the church in the fellowship hall.
