Preston and Sharon Gill will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, May 21, by renewing their vows at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 500 N. Main St., Poplar Bluff. A reception will follow from 2:30 - 4 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall hosted by Savannah Gill, friends and family.
The couple were married May 21, 1967 at Neelyville United Methodist Church.
Mr. Gill retired from the Poplar Bluff Fire Department and Mrs. Gill is employed by MERS Goodwill. The couple have one son, William Lee Gill and two granddaughters: Savannah Gill and Zara Newcomb.
All family and friends are invited to attend the celebration.
