A reception to honor Three Rivers College's Distinguished Alumni of the Year has been rescheduled.

The event for Stan Berry, editor of the Daily American Republic, will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday in the Tinnin Center lobby. A brief ceremony will be held at about 5:30 p.m., but people can drop by at any time during reception.

The event is open to the public. RSVPs are welcome to help the college plan and can be made by calling Michelle Reynolds at 840-9077. However, people who have not RSVPed can still attend.

Berry also will be the guest speaker during TRC's commencement ceremony Friday, May 19.

The original reception had been scheduled for May 1, but had to be postponed because of major flooding issues in the area.
