FISK, Mo. - Viva Brown, 90, of Broseley, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 15, 1926 in Webb. She attended the former Little Vine General Baptist Church. She later attended the Dudley Community Church and White Oak Grove General Baptist Church.

On April 25, 1942, she married J. G. Brown at Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death, May 12, 1985.

She is survived by one daughter: Frances Glass of Broseley; a son, Kenneth Brown of Fisk; a brother, Leonard Roe of Desloge; 11 grandchildren: Curtis and Gary McNeece, Jimmy and Billy Evans, Drew and Carrie Brown, Rhonda Moore, Linda Leone, Deanna Crawford, Cathy Dortch and Patricia Johnson; 16 great-grandchildren and 12 great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jack and Ruth Carroll Roe; two sons: Clyde Brown and Lloyd Brown; one daughter, Tina Stanford and three brothers: Charles Roe, Vic Roe and John Roe; three sisters: Clara Cross, Oma White and Martha Roe and one granddaughter, Sherry Hargate.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bobby Moore and Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.

Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley.
