VAN BUREN, Mo. -- Peggy Stucker, 53, daughter of the late Edwin Arnold and Clara Barton (Sweeney) Stucker Sr, was born April 29, 1963, and departed this life on July 24, 2016 at the Riverways Manor Nursing Home in Van Buren, Mo.
Peggy was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., and was raised in the Ellsinore area and was a graduate of East Carter County High School. She had worked at the Nutrition Center as a cook and had delivered meals for the elderly. Peggy was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, and spending time with her cats. She was a good hearted and free spirited person who enjoyed life.
Survivors include one son, Nick (Tobi) Stucker of Cape Girardeau, Mo., three daughters, Heather Pippin of Festus, Mo., a daughter in Southeast Missouri, and Beta Epps of Cape Girardeau, Mo., three brothers, Edwin Stucker, Jr. of St. Louis, Mo., Charles Eugene Stucker of Kansas City, Mo., and Gary Allen Stucker of Odessa, Mo., two sisters, Mary Secrease of St. Louis, Mo., and Joyce Stucker of Ellsinore, Mo., three grandchildren and many relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Peggy was preceded death by her parents, two sisters, Brenda Ayers and Lisa Shaffer.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. McSpadden Funeral Home in Van Buren is in charge of arrangements.
