Native's return benefits Neelyville

To the Editor:

Thank you, thank you to the DAR for the coverage on our Neelyville prom. We were so happy with all the pictures.

There is a young lady who worked extremely hard to make this a special night for her students. She's a Neelyville native who returned here a few years ago to teach. She wants the best for her hometown and school and works for that constantly.

We as a community are very blessed that she came back home.

I am not a family member or school employer, so I watch and listen from the sidelines only.

If you see Brandi Turner Lumby tell her you appreciate her concern for our community and school. I believe we will see many more good things from her in the future.
