LESTERVILLE, Mo. -- Elbert "Eddie" E. Miller, 73, of Centerville, Mo., died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Festus, Mo.
Mr. Miller was born at Centerville, on Nov. 30, 1938. On April 14, 1956 in Centerville, he married Lora Mae Akins. He was a member of Centerville First Baptist Church where he was baptized in October of 1983. He enjoyed woodworking, buying and selling timber, gardening, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family.
Survivors include his widow, Lora Mae Miller of Centerville; two sons, Dean Miller and Rick Miller, both of Centerville; a daughter, Debbie Tarvid of Ellington, Mo.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; and three step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tom Miller of Winfield, Mo., John Miller and Steve Creemens, both of Foley, Mo.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at McSpadden Funeral Home in Lesterville, Mo. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Stewart officiating.
