DONIPHAN, MO. -- Charlie LeRoy Ezell, 56, lifelong resident of Doniphan, Mo., died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Mr. Ezell, son of LeRoy and Mary Sue (Davis) Ezell, was born Aug. 17, 1955, in Fairdealing, Mo. He was a carpenter, insurance adjustor, and an assistant manager of NAPA Auto Parts. He was an avid member of the NRA and was of the General Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and telling funny stories...

DONIPHAN, MO. -- Charlie LeRoy Ezell, 56, lifelong resident of Doniphan, Mo., died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Mr. Ezell, son of LeRoy and Mary Sue (Davis) Ezell, was born Aug. 17, 1955, in Fairdealing, Mo. He was a carpenter, insurance adjustor, and an assistant manager of NAPA Auto Parts. He was an avid member of the NRA and was of the General Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and telling funny stories.

Surviving are two sons, Charlie Ezell II of Columbia, Mo., and Aaron Ezell of Poplar Bluff; his grandmother, Neacie Davis of Doniphan; two brothers, C.R. Ezell and Mike Baker, both of Doniphan; two aunts, Phyllis Hartrup and Doris Emmons, both of Doniphan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Sue Ezell, and one son, Ethan Ezell.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tim Tipton officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
